New experiences

We had some new activities lately: guitar classes, couple visits to museums, reading poetry. I noticed that everyone (including myself) enjoyed spending time while doing new things. It's always exciting to get new experiences.

Most of all I was impressed by how guys admired playing the guitar, although many of them were holding the guitar for the first time. It seems that music brings a lot of happiness to the collective mood every time during the guitar lessons, everyone is singing and enjoying the rhythm.

I also think we had a great time when visiting art exhibition and the palace museum. No doubts users were entertained by getting some cultural information as well as spending time in the city.
I am really very satisfied with my Ukrainian course and that users are always fully engaged in it. It is very pleasant they are interested in learning my mother tongue and do their best to be good students. It makes me surprised and thankful at the same time and gives me a lot of motivation to continue the course.😍

Painting lessons are over :(

The nine-month course of painting in the organization has ended. We tried a lot of techniques during this period - various painting techniques, various textures, drawing, mosaic, wax painting, graphics. The themes were very different - traditional Ukrainian technique Petrikovka, landscapes, portraits, logos, etc. The guys showed themselves on the best side and each of them is special in the creative way. Someone has shown himself in helping others with drawing, someone has a very specific style, someone has the ability to draw portraits, someone abstraction, someone very painstaking in work but someone is very temperamental. But certainly everyone is talented and everyone deserves praise.

Art of inclusion

Art…Who doesn’t love art? Nowadays it’s everywhere, and it is impossible to imagine our lives without it. Everything is art and art is for everyone. But have you ever thought what is actually art and how powerful it can be? It’s well-known that art connects people, countries, cultures. Have you ever thought that art can heal people, and helps those in need, those with difficulties, those who actually can learn this world only through arts? That was what our last project about. Art of inclusion. The project gathered partner-organizations from Portugal, Germany, Romania, and Italy. The week was full of cultural events and activities. The program consisted of: painting sessions, visits to the museums, creating photo exhibition, handcraft activities etc. It was unbelievably enjoyable to watch how everyone was deeply involved in the process. One more time I was convinced that art is full of love,  feelings, when people create (literally anyone), ...
