Europe Day







Another beautiful day, another beautiful festival – the Day of Europe. The festival was held in a nice park, so we could enjoy it during the day, as well-organized event and meet a lot of little – young smiling people.

Another exciting moment for our guys to socialize, watch, participate, understand, enjoy.
It is so important for the EU to treat disabled people equally, but what is more important is to teach others to have lots of respect and responsibility for these people.  And this is what everyone could notice: children of different ages showed lots of respect  and friendliness to our guys. It was so nice to watch it.

People need to see other people. People need to know there are different people, some have problems, some don't,  some are happy and smiling, others prefer to hide their feelings. Meeting new people is as important as sharing experiences. 

That's why I am glad we had the opportunity to  leave the office and  participate in the festival with lots of other people. Everyone enjoyed.

Fare volontariato presso l'Associazione Uniamoci Onlus

Le nostre volontarie Ucraine hanno finito il loro periodo di volontariato in associazione lo scorso Agosto. Abbiamo un pò riflettuto sulla loro esperienza con noi, sul contributo che hanno dato alla nostra associazione e ai nostri utenti ma anche su ciò che hanno avuto modo di imparare in questi 10 mesi. Painting lessons are over :(

The nine-month course of painting in the organization has ended. We tried a lot of techniques during this period - various painting techniques, various textures, drawing, mosaic, wax painting, graphics. The themes were very different - traditional Ukrainian technique Petrikovka, landscapes, portraits, logos, etc. The guys showed themselves on the best side and each of them is special in the creative way. Someone has shown himself in helping others with drawing, someone has a very specific style, someone has the ability to draw portraits, someone abstraction, someone very painstaking in work but someone is very temperamental. But certainly everyone is talented and everyone deserves praise.

Maryna, con noi da quasi due settimane ormai!

Un pò di ansia per il visto che non voleva arrivare e allora non volevamo neanche creare false speranze tra i membri dell'Associazione, così abbiamo parlato poco di lei e solo una settimana prima del suo arrivo. Con entusiasmo abbiamo trascorso due mattinate a preparare un cartellone di benvenuto e l'abbiamo aspettata, preparando ciascuno la sua presentazione in inglese: qualcuno ancora chiedeva "ma quanto resta?""10 mesi""Miiiii".  Eravamo così quel primo giorno: Adesso sono passate quasi due settimane in cui Maryna si è perfettamente integrata col nostro gruppo e da questa settimana inizierà anche a gestire delle attività: in questo momento sta tenendo una lezione di Ucraino per i nostri utenti e volontari e venerdì sperimenteremo una tecnica pittorica ucraina, perchè Maryna è un'artista! Ma ci ha molto aiutato anche nel lavoro d'ufficio, compilando e sistemando tabelle, aggiornando il blog del nostro progetto Art of Inclusion, h...
